Lakey: and the same from bangkok will be 900 usd.

ask now - 90mint ago
User 6: and how much for 12 day private tour in Bhutan taking in Tiger nest.
Lakey: for the cost I can explain you here itself.
ask now - 90mint ago
Lakey: For the Bhutan Tour package pricing, Bhutan follows a unique policy of tourism wherein only certain number of tourists per year are allowed, though the number is not small, but its not big enough as well, the common belief behind this is to take as many visitors as our eco system can take. We try to keep our natural resources intact, perhaps we are one of the 2 nations in the world, where the forest cover is increasing.
Lakey: hi.
ask now - 90mint ago
User 4: Hi Lakey, I am interested in a trip to Bhutan, encompassing some trekking, looking at November, coming from hong kong, please suggest a 5/6 day tour. Regards Paul.
Lakey: How can I help you Linda
ask now - 90mint ago
User 1: We are interested in travelling to Bhutan in August for around 2 weeks. What options do you have then - we were looking at the Eastern tour and also the Best of Bhutan tour.
User 3: but they are aged person and they would not be able to do hiking.
ask now - 90mint ago
Lakey: 3 night only or that increased as well.
User 6: would be 4-7 people.
ask now - 90mint ago
Lakey: how many people are there in the group ?
Lakey: and a only nation in the world where glaciers are not melting away, no wonder we 8th happiest nation in the world, and have the highest per capita income in South East Asia.Coming on to the trip cost, well your total spend per day is 240 USD, fixed by govt, i mean you can spend over and above that as well, but this is what you deposit to govt. per day, so lets say you come for 5 days so you remit 1200 USD, and in these 5 days.
ask now - 90mint ago
Lakey: Sounds good sir.
Lakey: Will you be coming alone or with few people.
ask now - 90mint ago
Lakey: Other activities as per your interests can be added as well, and perhaps one of the festivals, if any, can be the part of it for a day or 2 in it.
User 1: yes - we do like road cycling and if there are Festivals in August then that is also interesting; however this year the financial situation is tricky so we are looking to keep costs down and so relative prices of customised 14 day tours versus say group tours would be appreciated.
ask now - 90mint ago
Lakey: you get 3 star accommodation, all meals, all non alcoholic beverages, a Sedan/SUV with a driver, english speaking guide, all inclusive in this 240 USD. Offcourse shopping and alcohol is where you spend, else rest all is built in 240 USD per day.Thereby if you are coming here for 10 days then costing is 2400 USD, if its 11 days, then 2640 USD, formula remains the same, yes on more days spend, lets say if you stay here for more then 8 days, then you get 10% on those more days, in this case, you will pay 240 USD for 8 days, and 240 minus 10% for 2 more days, to make it a 10 day tour.
User 1: Ok maybe then you can kindly tailor an itinery for 14days in August and send to my gmail account linda.brs@gmail.com.
ask now - 90mint ago
User 5: Thanks for the explanation - can you also give me an idea of cost of flights?
Lakey: You can be connected to Bhutan airlines (Drukair) through Bangkok, from there you have one flight a day to Paro, Bhutan. You can also be connected from Delhi where the frequency is 4 flights a week. Then another connection is from Kathmandu which again is one flight a day basis. The retrun ticket costing from Kathmandu will be somewhere close to 450 USD per person, from Bangkok it will be close to 900 USD, and from Delhi it will be close to 740 USD per person.
ask now - 90mint ago
User 5: i live in london - what is the easiest way ?
Lakey: I guess Via Delhi.
ask now - 90mint ago
User 3: could you changed something else on first day.
Lakey: Ohh thats sad.
ask now - 90mint ago
User 6: 5 definite perhaps a few more.
Lakey: perfecto .
ask now - 90mint ago
Lakey: And should I mail you few Bhutan Travel Trip Plans at hoy..@mac.com.
User 4: With my wife, it's a birthday present.
ask now - 9mint ago
User 3: 3 nights only.
Lakey: yaya, we can make the drive to HAA valley instead of trek, its a beautiful valley.
ask now - 80mint ago
User 6: sounds lovely can you email me an example itinerary please, i need to help my children go to sleep, my email is jeremygball@gmail.com
User 3: okay , and yes we prefer Namjay heritage for the price of 720 USD as we earlier discussed per person. is it okay ?
ask now - 90mint ago
Lakey: About the payment, well that will be from bank to bank, wire transfer, and post that the visa will be applied online. and once when the visa is secured it will be mailed to you, you have to carry it while boarding the flight to Bhutan, its a regulation.
User 5: maybe a silly question - do you arrange flights too?
ask now - 90mint ago
Lakey: Definately not a silly question, yes we do arrange flights.
User 3: all the payment have to be made into bank account ?
ask now - 90mint ago
Lakey: About the security of the payment, well our credentials can very well be proven by the fact that we recently organised a whole conference of 160 people from Mumbai in Bhutan, It was of foreign exchange wing of Reserve Bank of India, as can be seen at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l0gM048sIHc.
User 5: Could you please look into some flights assuming dep on 2 july and either returning on 10 july or 17 july.+/- a few days

Paro Festival in Bhutan
We at BhutanTravelAgency.com have launched special Bhutan tours for the 2012 Paro festival!
After the success of our tours for the 2011 Paro and Thimphu festivals, we're doing it again. Come tour Bhutan and enjoy the Paro tshechu (festival) on April 2–6, 2012!
Our special tours last from 4 to 21 days, all allowing you to enjoy the Paro festival. Moreover, even our standard private tours can be modified to accommodate a visit to the Paro tshechu.
What Is the Paro Tshechu Festival?
The Paro tshechu is a one-of-a-kind festival, uniquely featuring the world's biggest ceremony of unfurling a throngdel. Throngdel means "confers liberation by the mere sight of it" in Bhutanese. A throngdel is believed to provide a seed of enlightenment to those who see it.
The throngdel of Paro Tshechu is considered one of the most sacred objects in all of Bhutan. The huge thangkha
(silk painting) featuring the throngdel covers the face of the dzong. It's displayed only for a few hours, at daybreak on the final day of the festival, to allow people to obtain its blessing.
As a tourist visiting the festival, you'll witness a celebration that's been held for centuries. The Paro festival only happens once a year, so you'll see the Bhutanese celebrate in all their finest colorful costumes. You might even catch the attention of the atchara (clown).
Many events happen at "the fortress of the heap of jewels," Rimpung Dzong, in Paro. The festivities open with the monks performing Shingje Yab Yum, the dance of Death (Shingje) and his consort. Other dances follow, like Durdag, the dance of the lords of the cremation grounds; Shanag, the dance of the black hats; Drametse Ngacham, the dance of the drum from Dramitse; Degye Mang Cham, the dance of the eight kinds of spirits; and the religious song Chhoeshey, which is an integral part of Zhungdra and Boedra dance.
Don't wait for airlines and hotels to fill — contact us today for package and ordering details, so you can travel to Bhutan to enjoy this remarkable tshechu! Some of our group tour packages are listed below.
